The color guard team participates in numerous events year round on and off campus. In competition the color guard team of four is tested on precision, sharpness, patriotism in their appearance, and general knowledge of our country. Aside from competitions, the color guard team presents the colors for assemblies, ceremonies, meetings, and special events throughout the community as well as on campus. The color guard has had the opportunity to present the colors for the national anthem at a Los Angeles Dodgers game where they were able to meet with Tommy Lasorda, along with prestigious meetings at the Western University of Health and Sciences. Although they may not receive much credit for what they do, they are the most needed team on campus.
